The rumbles of everyday life
Like the tumultuous sea waves
Crash into each other
Yet, holding up the crest
Only to ebb further
The wisdom over the years
Embalms the pain hidden deep
When the raindrops fall
On wet faces upturned
Watchful eyes seek journey within
Friends offer a calming drink
Raised eyebrows quiver, whiskey or wine
Sated with a self healing soul
None, I smile
Just pour me a glass of Sunshine
So lovely, Shagun, I couldn’t help smiling at your last line and that glass of sunshine. Just beautiful, my friend. I’d love to join you for that sip. 😀
